Its density in the liquid state (at the boiling point) is 1.40 g/cm³. Liquid Argon is produced in air separation plants that liquefy the air and separate it into oxygen, nitrogen and argon.


The most important chemical feature is that it is inert, which provides comfort and ease of use in fields such as metallurgy. It does not change in the atmosphere after use. For this reason, it is a type of gas generally used in cooling processes. It is widely used in gas-filled electric lamps in industry.
